Holiday Cards for CPA Firms — land in November, before the season that owns you

Your busy season starts the moment everyone else's ends. That's the whole argument for getting this done in September.

100 cards$2.86under, per card
250 cards$2.35under, per card
500 cards$2.19under, per card
1,000 cards$1.85under, per card

Good-tier pricing, with envelopes and imprinting included. Early-order discounts come off on top of these prices — 25% by October 15, then 20% by November 16, then 10% by December 11. Better and Best designs cost more — see all three tiers and price your order.

You have a narrow window and you know it

From late January to April 15 you are unreachable. The relationship work has to happen before that, and November is the last good month. A card that lands before Thanksgiving is a client who remembers you exist before the W-2s start arriving.

Thanksgiving is the smarter send for accountants

Every vendor your client has sends a card in December. Yours lands in a pile of forty. Almost nobody sends a Thanksgiving card — yours arrives by itself, in early November, on a wall with space on it. And the message is thanks for the relationship, which is exactly what you mean.

Referral sources are half the list

Attorneys, financial advisors, realtors, mortgage brokers, insurance agents. The people who send you work. Most firms card their clients and forget the referral network, which is backwards — one attorney can be worth twenty returns.

Questions we get from cpas

Should a CPA firm send Thanksgiving or Christmas cards?
Thanksgiving, if you send one. December mail arrives into a pile of forty cards. Early-November mail arrives alone. And a firm whose busiest quarter starts in January benefits from being remembered in November, not in a stack under a tree. Some firms send Thanksgiving to clients and Christmas to referral sources — that works too.
How many cards does a CPA firm need?
Individual return clients, business clients, and referral sources. For a small firm that's usually 200–400; for a mid-size firm 500–1,200. Referral sources are the highest-value names and the ones most often missed.
Can we imprint a firm signature?
Up to four lines, seven ink colors, seventeen font styles. Firm name, a short line of your own, partner names. Envelope imprinting matches, so the envelope is recognizably yours before it's opened — which is most of why it gets opened.
What does 500 cards actually cost?
On our Good tier, under $2.19 a card with envelopes — so about $1,095 before the early-order discount, or roughly $821 after it. Add $30 once for logo setup and $20 for a printed proof. Better and Best tiers run higher. Run your own numbers on our pricing page.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
