Business Holiday Cards  ·  Law Firms & Attorneys

Holiday Cards for Law Firms — the client who hears from you once a year remembers who did

Estate planning, family law, personal injury, corporate counsel. Different practices, same problem — the matter closes and the relationship goes quiet.

100 cards$2.86under, per card
250 cards$2.35under, per card
500 cards$2.19under, per card
1,000 cards$1.85under, per card

Good-tier pricing, with envelopes and imprinting included. Early-order discounts come off on top of these prices — 25% by October 15, then 20% by November 16, then 10% by December 11. Better and Best designs cost more — see all three tiers and price your order.

The matter ends. The relationship shouldn't.

A client comes to you at one of the harder moments of their life, you handle it well, and then… nothing. For years. The referral you should have gotten went to whoever happened to be top of mind that week. A card in November is the least expensive way to still be in the room.

Restraint is the whole design brief

Legal is the one category where a card can be too much. No glitter, no cartoon reindeer for a firm that handled someone's divorce. Our Corporate Greetings, Peace on Earth and Business Verse families were built for exactly this — quiet, well-printed, appropriate.

Partner signatures, done properly

Multiple partners signing 400 cards by hand in December is how December goes badly. Imprint up to four lines — firm name, partner names, a short line of your own — in any of seven ink colors.

Questions we get from attorneys

What should a law firm write in a client holiday card?
Keep it short and keep it about the relationship, not the work. “Thank you for your trust this year” does more than a paragraph. Avoid anything that reads as soliciting new matters — the card is a relationship touch, not an ad. If you practice in an area where a cheerful card could land badly (family law, criminal defense, estate), Thanksgiving is often the safer and better-received send.
Can we add the firm logo?
Yes. Logo setup is a one-time $30 charge, and we keep the file on record so re-orders in following years cost nothing extra. We'll send a proof before anything prints.
Is a client holiday card an ethics problem?
Rules vary by state bar, and we're a card company, not your ethics counsel — check your own jurisdiction. In general, a plain seasonal greeting to existing and former clients is treated very differently from solicitation. Most firms keep the message purely about gratitude and leave services out of it entirely.
How many should a firm order?
Count your active client list, add former clients from the last three years, add referral sources — other attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, realtors. For most small and mid-size firms that lands between 250 and 600. Referral sources are the highest-return names on that list and the ones most often left off.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
