Holiday Cards for Real Estate Agents — the past client is the whole business

Your average client transacts every seven to ten years. The card is how you're still there when they do.

100 cards$2.86under, per card
250 cards$2.35under, per card
500 cards$2.19under, per card
1,000 cards$1.85under, per card

Good-tier pricing, with envelopes and imprinting included. Early-order discounts come off on top of these prices — 25% by October 15, then 20% by November 16, then 10% by December 11. Better and Best designs cost more — see all three tiers and price your order.

You are playing a seven-year game

Nobody in this business gets paid on the transaction they're working. They get paid on the referral three years from now and the move-up sale in year eight. Everything between closing and that day is retention work, and the card is the least expensive piece of it.

On the wall of the house you sold them

The card goes up in the kitchen or the home office of a house you personally sold them. There is no better placement in advertising and it costs about five dollars. When their sister asks who to call, your name is fifteen feet away.

Photo cards, because they need the face

Real estate is the one category where the photo card genuinely outperforms. Clients remember a face and a name together far better than a logo. Our Photo Holder family is built for it — your headshot or the team, printed in.

Questions we get from real estate

How many holiday cards should a real estate agent send?
Everyone in your database, not just this year's closings. Past clients from the last seven to ten years, current prospects, your sphere, and your referral partners — lenders, title, inspectors, contractors. For most individual agents that's 200–500; for a team, 600–1,500. The names you closed six years ago are the ones about to move again.
Should I use a photo card or a branded card?
Photo, in this business. Clients remember faces. Put your headshot or the team on it and keep the brokerage branding secondary — they hired you, not the sign in the yard. Check your brokerage's branding rules before you print.
What about Thanksgiving instead of Christmas?
Strong move for agents. December is a wall of cards from every vendor your client uses. Early November is empty, and thanks for trusting me with your home reads better in a Thanksgiving card than in a Christmas one.
Can you address and mail them for me?
Yes. Addressing runs $75 for the order, the full mailing service is $350 — we print, address, stamp and mail from your list. Most agents who have addressed 400 envelopes by hand once do not do it twice.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
