Holiday Cards for Healthcare Practices — the patients who only see you when something's wrong

Medical, dental, veterinary, physical therapy, optometry. Practices where the patient relationship is long but the contact is episodic.

100 cards$2.86under, per card
250 cards$2.35under, per card
500 cards$2.19under, per card
1,000 cards$1.85under, per card

Good-tier pricing, with envelopes and imprinting included. Early-order discounts come off on top of these prices — 25% by October 15, then 20% by November 16, then 10% by December 11. Better and Best designs cost more — see all three tiers and price your order.

Contact without a co-pay attached

Most of what a patient receives from a practice is a bill, a reminder, or a form. A card is the one piece of mail from you all year that isn't asking for money or an appointment. That contrast is the whole effect.

Recall and retention are the same problem

Practices lose patients to drift, not to dissatisfaction. They move, they forget the name, they go wherever their new neighbor recommends. A card in November keeps the name in the house going into the new plan year — which is exactly when people choose.

Careful with the list

Patient lists carry obligations that a client list doesn't. If we handle addressing and mailing for you, your list is used for that order and nothing else. If you'd rather not send it out at all, we ship the imprinted cards and envelopes to you and your front desk handles the rest.

Questions we get from healthcare

Is sending patients a holiday card a HIPAA issue?
We are a printing company and not your compliance advisor — check with whoever handles HIPAA for your practice. Broadly: a plain seasonal greeting with no health information is generally treated as low-risk, and many practices send them. The care point is the mailing list, not the card. Nothing about the card should reveal why someone is your patient — which is a good reason to leave a specialty off the envelope.
Can you address and mail them for us?
Yes. Addressing is $75 for the order and the full mailing service is $350. You send the list, we print, address, stamp and mail. If you'd prefer the list never leaves your office, we'll ship everything to you instead.
What about veterinary practices?
Our Animal Holiday family exists mostly because vets kept asking. Pet owners are the most reliable card-keepers of any group we print for — a card with a dog on it goes on the refrigerator and stays there until spring.
How far ahead should we order?
September or early October. Practices are busiest in December, and the version of your office manager who orders in September is a lot happier than the one placing a rush order on December 3rd. The early-order discount is 25% off the cards if you order by October 15.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
