How it works

Four steps, and we do most of them

Nothing here is complicated. But the order of it matters, and so does when you start.

  1. Pick a card

Browse by collection or by profession. 350+ designs, all printed in the USA. If you'd rather not scroll, call us — we can usually narrow it to four in five minutes.

  2. Tell us what to imprint

Up to four lines on the card, four more on the envelope. Ink colors chosen to coordinate with each design — red, royal blue, hunter green, black, burgundy and navy on nearly every card, with gold, silver and others where they suit the artwork — and more than 100 font styles. Choose a verse from our library or write your own. Logo setup is $30 once and we keep the file, so next year is free.

  3. Approve the proof

$20 for a printed proof in your hands before the run. Nothing prints until you say so. That's the entire purpose of the step and it is the one we'd least like you to skip.

  4. We ship — or we mail

Cards and envelopes to your door. Or send us the list and we address, stamp and mail the whole thing. Addressing $75.00 per 100, full mailing service $350.00 per 100 with postage included.

When to start. September or October for a comfortable December. Cards mailed early get on the wall before the pile arrives — and the early-order discount takes 25% off the card price if you order by October 15, then 20% by November 16 and 10% by December 11.

It isn't about a deadline. It's about which version of you is signing the card — the one who's ahead, or the one who's chasing.

Imprinting, in detail

Four lines on the card, four on the envelope. Ink colors coordinated to the design, and more than 100 font styles. Envelope imprinting matters more than people expect — an envelope that's recognizably yours is an envelope that gets opened.

Paper & envelopes

Standard stock is 12pt. Upgrade to 14pt for 15¢ a card. Self-seal envelopes are $24.00 per 100 — $144 on an order of 600, on the grounds that nobody should lick 600 envelopes.

Big orders

At 1,000 and up we'll design and produce a custom card that's yours alone. That's a conversation, not a shopping cart. Start it here.

Common questions

How long does an order take?
It moves with the season. The pattern worth knowing: September and October are comfortable, and the first two weeks of December are not — which is the whole argument for ordering early. If you have a hard deadline, put it in the notes with your order or call 833-682-8250 and we'll give you a real date rather than a hopeful one.
Do I have to buy a proof?
No, but on any order with a logo we'd rather you did. $20 to see the actual printed piece before 600 of them run is cheap insurance, and it's the step that catches the problem nobody spotted on screen.
Can you mail them for us?
Yes. Addressing is $75.00 per 100 — you send the list, we print the addresses on your envelopes. The full mailing service is $350.00 per 100 with postage included, and covers addressing, stamping, sealing and mailing from your list. Both are priced per 100, so a 250-card order is $187.50 to address or $875.00 to mail complete. Most people who have hand-addressed 400 envelopes once do not do it twice.
What file do you need for a logo?
A vector file (.ai, .eps or .pdf) prints best. A high-resolution PNG or JPG usually works — send what you have and we'll tell you honestly whether it will hold up at print size. Setup is $30 once and we keep it on file, so next year costs nothing.
Can I see a card before I order?
Yes — order a proof, or call us and we'll talk through what's close to what you're picturing. We have been doing this since 1984, so we can usually narrow 350-odd designs down to four in about five minutes.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
