Shimmer Stock Holiday Cards
A paper family rather than a picture family. These are printed on a pearlescent stock that catches light across the whole card, not just where the foil is.
Prices are per card at 100, before the early-order discount. Minimum order is 25 cards; the per-card price changes with quantity — the full table has every band.
What does shimmer stock actually do?
The sheen is in the paper itself, so the entire surface shifts as the light moves rather than only the foiled areas. On a desk under office lighting it is obvious; in a photograph it is almost invisible, which is why this family is worth ordering a physical sample of.
It is the closest thing in the catalog to a card that announces it cost something, without any change to the design.
Is it worth the upgrade?
For a short list to important clients, generally yes — the effect is doing work at arm's length, which is where those cards get read.
For a long mailing that mostly ends up on walls at a distance, the money is better spent on ordering early. A physical sample is available before the run if you want to see the stock in hand first.
