Sympathy & Condolence Cards

Quiet cards for a difficult note. Restrained imagery, and nothing on them that asks anything of the person receiving it.

Prices are per card at 100, before the early-order discount. Minimum order is 25 cards; the per-card price changes with quantity — the full table has every band.

What should a sympathy card from a business look like?

Plain. Calla lilies, eucalyptus, a soft sunset — imagery that carries weight without decoration. Nothing bright, nothing clever, and no attempt to lift the mood.

This is the one card where the firm should be almost invisible. A logo on a sympathy card reads as marketing, and the note stops working.

What should it say?

Less than you think. Two or three lines, handwritten if at all possible, naming the person rather than the situation.

We can imprint the card, but on this one most firms leave the inside blank and write it themselves. That is the right instinct.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us who you're sending to and roughly how many. We've been doing this since 2003 — we'll point you at the three or four designs that actually fit, and you can take it from there.
