It is symmetrical, it reads from across a room, and it leaves a clean center — which is exactly where a firm name or a logo wants to sit. Half the logo cards in the catalog are wreaths for that reason.
It is also the least loaded image of the season. A wreath on a door is a welcome, not a statement, and it travels to any list without a caveat.
